I would like to thank you for including Dad's birthday on your website.Dad just turned 93 and is living in an Assisted Living facility near Athens, close to my brother's house and a short drive from me. He is in very good shape, just minor aches and pains, like the rest of us. He has fond memories of his carpentry days and his many friendships among the Brotherhood. I have attached the only clear picture of him I can readily find where he isn't in a crowd of family. Thanks again for including him.

SOUTHEASTERN CARPENTERS REGIONAL COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WINNERS








Katie Estes (left), Amanda Stevens (right) and Mindie Thigpen were three of the four recipients of the 1st SECRC Scholarship Award. The fathers' of these winners are members of Local 144. Congratulations to all of these exceptional young women . For more pictures click here

The SECRC Scholarship program is open to the dependant children of members of the Council. Four scholarships will be available annually. Each scholarship awardee shall be paid $1000.00 per year for as many as four years.

The member must have been a member of the UBC for five years and have been in good standing for one year prior to the application for the scholarship.
